There are 5 grades of accessibility, with any value above a 2 indicates that stations are fully accessible to all platforms and exits. A grade of 3, 4 or 5 indicates how thoughtful accessible integration was made. For a ramp to be considered accessible, the grade must increase by at least 0.5 every 2 blocks. Sometimes half grades may be given to stations to demonstrate that for it's category, its over performing. For example, a 3.5 might indicate that the platform can be accessed with more than one lift, but they go to different exits or concourses; a 1.5 might indicate a steep ramp; or a 4.5 might indicate that the station is near perfect with one exit not being perfect.
Not Accessible - there are no lifts or no ramps.
Partially Accessible - some platforms and/or exits are not accessible by ramp or lift.
Fully Accessible - there are ramps and/or lifts to every exit and platform. However, using lifts and ramps maybe inconvenient, or due to only one lift serving an area, there maybe no redundancy in case of an outage.
Reliably Accessible - there are ramps and/or 2 lifts at every exit and every platform. Furthermore, this grade demonstrates that in case of a lift outage, there will be another lift to serve your needs.
Perfectly Accessible - a station with this grade demonstrates, that this station was thoughtfully designed for disabled people. This will include short walks from exit to lifts that go straight to platforms, and there will always 2 double sided (this means when you walk into a lift you do not have to turnaround to exit) lifts that go to all exits and platforms.
